Free Lightroom Presests for Landscape Photography

I have been hard at work to create a set of Landscape Photography Presets that are not gimmicky. No instagram-like filters to be found here, only high quality presets that will transform dull raw files into beautiful images.

The develop presets are intended to take your image from zero to print quality in only a few clicks. Processing images is a frustrating burden to many, and I wanted to provide presets to take away the pain, so you can spend more time shooting, and less in front of a computer.

The local adjustment presets are for those that want to take their image to the next level, and let their artistic side come out. The burn and dodge tools are highly customized to act like luminosity masks, only affecting certain tonal ranges of the image.

As with my other presets, I am offering these for a donation, or for free just by signing up to my newsletter. I have put a ton of work into these, so I hope you will find them worthy of a donation.

  1. Dear David,
I bumped into your Landscape Presets and despite my reluctance in using using one in general I liked them and can see your efforts behind. I am a Landscape photographer as a hobby and will be downloading yours soon to use in Lightroom. I have now fully migrated to Fuji and do you have any presets specifically for this?
Also, I read your sharpening suggestion by keeping the details to zero while another professional has just suggested the opposite to avoid the wormy artifacts by pushing it to 100. I will try your method as well but have started the ID for my RAF files.

Keep up the good work. I visit LA often to be with my son and enjoy shooting American Landscape always.

    Cheers,
    Ravishankar
